Despite the reputation of Lions, Lionel is anything but fierce. He is soft and cuddly and loves to be tickled behind his ears. Lionel loves to make new friends and can spend hours and hours chatting away with anyone he comes across.
Lionel is perfect for interactive play with children of any age. He induces great belly-laughs wherever he goes but also becomes a great friend to all that he meets, no matter how shy the child may be they seem to come out of their shell when interacting with Lionel.
I have had some great feedback from nursery nurses, teachers, parents and child minders alike that my hand puppets are a great tool / help for entertaining, encouraging, engaging and teaching children from a young age.
Made using the Amigurumi technique of continuous rounds. A quick yet effective make for anyone working with children or just for fun with the little ones at home.
If you use a smaller hook or yarn weight then Lionel could easily be made to fit a child.
